From the Liberty Conservation District

The Liberty County Conservation District would like to express their support for the efforts of the Hi-Line Pool and recreation Foundation and other cooperating entities to build a new pool for the Hi-Line communities.

The Conservation District has been and continues to be a strong supporter of the lifestyle, strong ethics and sense of community that has been fostered throughout the Hi-Line Area. To continue this lifestyle, it is imperative that our communities provide activities for our youth such as the community pool being planned.

A community pool provides recreational activities for people of all ages (infant to adult), jobs for young adults (i.e. lifeguards), provides as forum for safety lessons (i.e. swim lessons, lifesaving) and competitive activities (i.e. swim team) that can instill lifelong memories, family values and provide an adhesive bond throughout the community.

We appreciate the time and consideration given to this proposal and hope you view it favorably. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Marlene Moon
